Multidisciplinary work and engineering coordination. **DRINKING WATER TREATMENT SPECIALIST Position Objective** Lead the engineering design development of drinking water treatment plants (DWTP), ensuring compliance with project-established quality criteria, production capacity, operational reliability, and regulatory requirements. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree and professional registration in Sanitary Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 10 years of experience in design, evaluation, and development of drinking water treatment plants. * Demonstrable experience in sizing and optimization of DWTP systems. * Knowledge of coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection processes. * Experience in preparing calculation memoranda, design criteria, and technical specifications. * Familiarity with sanitary regulations and standards applicable to drinking water treatment. * Desired experience in mining, industrial, or hydraulic infrastructure projects. * Desired experience in projects executed at the Detailed Engineering level. **Responsibilities** * Develop design criteria for drinking water treatment plants. * Review and validate hydraulic balances, production capacities, and design parameters. * Size treatment units and associated auxiliary systems. * Prepare calculation memoranda, technical specifications, and engineering documentation. * Define treated water quality parameters and design operating conditions. * Evaluate treatment technologies and alternatives to optimize plant performance. * Coordinate with hydraulic, process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. * Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and Detailed Engineering activities. **Competencies** * Analytical ability. * Critical thinking. * Attention to detail. * Technical leadership. * Multidisciplinary teamwork. * Effective communication. * Problem-solving skills. * Results orientation.
