Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator in the paper and cardboard industry to operate and adjust printing machines, ensure quality, and perform maintenance. Optimization of materials and compliance with safety requirements We are looking for an **Offset Press Operator** with experience in the **paper and cardboard** industry to join our team. REQUIREMENTS * Completed secondary education or completed/incomplete technical studies. * Minimum **4 years of experience in graphic production**. * Minimum **1 year of experience as an Offset Press Operator**. * Minimum **2 years of experience in the paper and cardboard industry**. * Knowledge of **preparation and adjustment of offset printing machines**. * Experience in **ink, water, pressure, and print registration regulation**. * Knowledge of **quality control and detection of printing defects**. * Availability to work overtime and on **rotating shifts**. RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and operate the offset printing machine. * Perform plate mounting and adjustment. * Prepare and regulate inks, water, and fountain solution. * Adjust pressure, registration, color, and paper feed. * Conduct print tests and verify that results meet quality standards. * Monitor registration, tone, density, and sharpness during production. * Identify and correct printing issues such as stains, color variations, set-off, misregistration, or ink defects. * Supply the machine with paper and other materials required for production. * Perform format changes and adjustments according to work orders. * Carry out cleaning and basic machine maintenance. * Monitor paper and ink waste, aiming to optimize material usage. * Comply with established safety, quality, and production procedures. * Record production output, waste, time spent, and process observations.
