Production Assistant - Shift-Based

Description

Job Summary: Support in Extrusion, Sealing, Quality Control, and Supply, maintaining cleanliness and order in the production area. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in the extrusion and sealing process. 2. Visual quality control and reporting of defects. 3. Maintenance of cleanliness and order in the production area. Extrusion Support: Assist in feeding raw materials (resins/polyethylene) into machines and collaborate during roll or coil changes. Sealing Support: Collect, count, and package finished bags exiting the sealer, verifying correct sealing. Quality Control: Conduct basic visual inspections to detect material defects (holes, stains, or improper sealing) and report them to the operator. Supply Support: Transport necessary supplies and materials to work areas to prevent machine downtime. Cleaning and Organization: Keep the production area clear, manage plastic waste (trimmings), and ensure tool cleanliness.
