JOB STATEMENT Support maintenance services and technical advisory for equipment, spare parts, and components repair related to Metso’s wet technology for our customers and contractors; ensure compliance with the Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System guidelines; and supervise personnel under your responsibility to adhere to these same guidelines. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide technical assistance for installation, assembly, commissioning, repair, and inspection of any equipment and components in the wet area of mining plants. * Perform assigned service tasks using procedures defined by the company’s global organization (drawings, procedures, checklists, etc.). * Appropriately channel customer requirements regarding products/spare parts and/or any needs from other functional or technical areas. * Submit service requests along with required approval documents for product and system repairs to the Planning and Development department. * Accurately record progress, delays, issues, deliveries, engineering and manufacturing changes, and errors. Who We Are Looking For * Required: University degree, graduate, or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. * Required: Minimum 5 years of work experience in plant shutdowns, performing similar functions. * Certifications (evidence required): * Required: x \- Preferred: Class A\-1 driver’s license. * Preferred knowledge: * Knowledge of concentrator plant maintenance. * Advanced knowledge of mineral processing in the wet area of mining plants. * Knowledge of concentrator plant maintenance, flotation cells, thickeners, filters, Holoflite equipment, and associated processes.
