We are seeking an HVAC OPERATOR to install split-type air conditioning units for the SSEE (Electrical Substation and Equipment) of the hybrid power generation system at Minera Titán del Perú. This high-complexity project requires experience in assembling air conditioning equipment and medium- and low-voltage electrical installations. **Professional Requirements** * Technician graduate in: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electromechanics, or Electromechanical Maintenance. * Certifications: IPERC, LOTO, electrical hazard work, load handling, signaling, and electrical safety standards. Solid knowledge of reading HVAC drawings, single-line diagrams, isometric diagrams, and technical specifications. * Mandatory Documentation: Employment certificates verifying prior experience in a mining unit for the position applied for (essential for verification). **Minimum Experience** * **3 years** as an HVAC OPERATOR on HVAC projects. * Experience in: Residential and industrial split systems, field/construction site installations, and working at heights. * Preferred: Experience in mining or industrial projects. **Main Responsibilities** * Installation of split-type air conditioning units (evaporator and condenser) * Copper piping (refrigerant lines) * Drainage piping * Electrical conduits (PVC SAP, conduit) * Electrical connection of equipment (220V single-phase) * Installation of supports and fixings for indoor and outdoor units * Leak-tightness testing (vacuum and pressure tests) * Refrigerant charging and verification (R\-410A) * Commissioning and operational validation * Reading and interpretation of HVAC drawings * Coordination with electrical specialties (climate control panels) * Strict compliance with industrial safety standards **Mandatory Technical Knowledge** * Installation of split-type units (9000–18,000 BTU) * Handling of refrigerants (R\-410A) * Copper brazing * Vacuum testing and gas charging * Interpretation of HVAC drawings * Basic electrical installations (single-phase panels) * Basic standards: * ASHRAE (design criteria) * CNE Utilization **TOOLS REQUIRED (AN ADDITIONAL BONUS WILL BE PROVIDED IF THE OPERATOR SUPPLIES THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT)** * Vacuum pump * Manifold gauge set * Leak detector * Oxy-acetylene welding equipment * Drill, angle grinder, hand tools * Multimeter **Position Conditions** * **Position Type:** Full-time, Temporary (Construction Phase). * **Contract Duration:** 3 months. * **Work Schedule:** **20X10** (20 working days followed by 10 days off); meals and accommodation provided during the 20 working days. * **Labor Regime:** MYPE (Microenterprise regime) — benefits limited to those applicable to microenterprises. * **Benefits:** Round-trip transportation costs to/from the candidate’s city of origin covered upon each rotation. * **Work Location:** On-site employment (Titán Mining Unit)\- Arequipa Position Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract Duration: 3 months Salary: S/.3,000\.00 \- S/.3,500\.00 per month Application Question(s): * What is your current city of residence for transportation arrangement purposes? * Do you hold a technical degree?
