Job Summary: Provide operational support during the blasting process, ensuring correct execution of the plan in coordination with the supervisor. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational support in the blasting process 2. Ensure proper loading and priming of blastholes according to design 3. Safe operation of equipment under established standards **Job Objective:** Provide operational support in the blasting process to ensure correct execution of the blasting program or plan in coordination with the Blasting Supervisor. **Main Responsibilities:** * Monitor unit operating parameters. * Transport explosives and blasting accessories to the blasting project in coordination with the blasting supervisor. * Provide operational support on-site to execute the blasting plan. * Safely guide the mobile explosive manufacturing truck’s movement on the blasting project site to minimize contingencies. * Ensure blastholes are primed, loaded, and stemmed in accordance with the blasting design. * Operate and park equipment under established safety regulations and maintain all required documentation (e.g., driver's licenses, insurance) valid and readily available, if required by the position. * Comply with and ensure compliance with established Written Safe Work Procedures (WSWPs). Use personal protective equipment (PPE) while working and report any non-use thereof. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education. * Availability to work under the mining 5x5 schedule in Arequipa. * Preferred: 2 years of experience in loading and stemming blastholes. * Preferred: Driver's license AIIB.
