Job Summary: We are seeking a Procurement Analyst with experience in negotiation and supplier management to optimize the acquisition of goods and services and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate on procurement and inventory management optimization 2. Strategic negotiation with suppliers for better terms 3. Participate in supplier evaluation and selection We are looking for a Procurement Analyst: Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields. Knowledge of negotiation techniques and supplier management. 2–3 years of prior experience in procurement functions, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in SAP, specifically the MM module. Analytical skills to evaluate quotations, compare prices and terms, and make informed purchasing decisions. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel. Roles and Responsibilities: Collaborate with various company departments to understand and analyze procurement needs for goods and services. Evaluate technical specifications and requirements of requested products or services. Research and assess potential suppliers based on their ability to meet the company’s needs. Conduct comparative supplier analyses considering price, quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms. Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, discounts, payment terms, and delivery conditions. Identify opportunities to secure better commercial terms and reduce costs. Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established procedures. Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of requested goods or services. Collaborate with the inventory team to manage and optimize inventory levels in line with the company’s operational and financial needs. Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and improve stock turnover. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, effectively communicating the company’s requirements and expectations. Proactively resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement and suppliers. In case of absence, be replaced by the Procurement Assistant.
