**Job Description**
Mission:
Collaborate and support projects carried out by your unit/department, in accordance with guidelines provided by your supervisor, to execute delegated tasks satisfying the needs of internal clients.
This subfunction is responsible for all activities related to employee safety and health. Its activities include: identification and assessment of accident and occupational disease risks; risk control in the work environment or means of work; occupational risk prevention training; dissemination of the importance of such prevention; information recording and analysis; and technical advisory and support to company employees.
**Candidate Requirements**
**ACCIONA**, in its **Industrial** business, requires hiring an OSH Supervisor for one of our Transmission Lines and Substations projects in Cayaltí, Lambayeque:
**Responsibilities:**
* Support the OSH Manager in implementing the Project’s Occupational Safety and Health Plan and Program, and other related documentation, to control risks present in project execution activities.
* Implement the project’s OSH training program to comply with safety regulations, enhance awareness and sensitivity toward safety among organizational personnel, and ensure minimum required training is delivered.
* Support the OSH Manager in jointly implementing, reviewing, and updating, together with site supervisors, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC) matrices, to guarantee implementation of preventive controls.
* Verify that contractor companies are certified to work on ACCIONA Industrial projects in Peru, and supervise strict compliance with applicable legal regulations, ACCIONA Industrial Projects Peru standards, and client safety requirements, thereby preventing incidents.
* Conduct and lead proper investigations into accidents and incidents involving ACCIONA Industrial Projects Peru and contractors, prepare reports identifying root causes, describe corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and verify their implementation and effectiveness.
* Support the OSH Manager during internal, external, corporate audits, and client inspections to demonstrate implementation of the OSH management system.
* Use and promote the use of ACCIONA’s corporate OSH platforms and ACCIONA’s corporate OSH programs and tools.
* Draft and issue OSH Management Reports, summarizing results achieved and deviations identified during implementation of the OSH Program, proposing improvement actions and recommendations.
* Monitor compliance with occupational medical examinations, supported by project and company health professionals.
* Conduct field verifications of standard compliance jointly with the execution team to verify adherence to the Occupational Safety and Health Management System.
* Participate in implementing procedures, management plans, and instructions aligned with the Project’s Environmental Management Plan.
* Support identification of technical (construction-related) execution gaps and commitments approved in the Project’s IGA, and provide case-specific recommendations.
* Propose improvements or corrections to impact assessment criteria, mitigation measures, environmental management plan, among others.
* Participate in technical meetings with the client and/or environmental consultant, providing technical support for decision-making and resolution of observations, coordinated with the AIPP Environmental Supervisor.
* Support preparation of supplementary documentation, such as observation matrices, executive summaries, or internal presentations on progress of the environmental component.
* Train workers on environmental topics, coordinated with the AIPP Environmental Supervisor.
* Support environmental control, monitoring, management, and closure of projects on-site, ensuring compliance with assumed environmental commitments and applicable project regulations.
* Perform other responsibilities assigned, inherent to the position.
**Required Profile**
**Academic Qualifications:**
* University-level Engineering degree (graduated) and professional registration (non-mandatory)
* Postgraduate diploma or Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health and/or ISO 45001 standard (non-mandatory)
**Years of Required Experience:**
* 6 years in occupational safety and health within infrastructure project execution, including at least 3 years in Transmission Lines and Substations projects, and at least 3 years as a Project OSH Supervisor or higher.
**Additional Knowledge:**
* Knowledge of risk controls for critical tasks.
* Knowledge of OSH management indicators.
* Knowledge of applicable legal regulations and safety standards for production processes.
* Knowledge and application of ISO 45001 standard.
* Incident investigation methodologies (ICAM, Bowtie, SCAT, etc.)
* Environmental management knowledge.
