Job Summary: We are seeking a Social Performance Analyst to support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of internal controls at Anglo American Quellaveco. Key Highlights: 1. Contribute to the zero-harm vision in SHE Company Description \-Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation—one of the world’s largest copper deposits—located in the Moquegua region in southern Peru. Quellaveco will have a 30-year reserve life. It will employ open-pit mining and flotation processes to produce copper concentrates, as well as molybdenum and silver as by-products. Quellaveco is expected to produce an average of 300,000 tonnes of copper per year during its first 10 years of operation. Job Description \-Anglo American is currently seeking a Social Performance Analyst. **Roles and Responsibilities** * Systematically organize compliance evidence in an orderly manner. * Support the implementation of assigned action plans. * Monitor the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control activities, escalating critical aspects, emerging risks, and discrepancies. * Provide relevant process-related information and training to executors/responsible personnel. * Prepare weekly internal control results reports covering implementation processes, audits, studies, and/or other activities that demonstrate management progress. * Other duties as assigned by the Social Performance Supervisor and/or Social Performance, Risk & Compliance Superintendent. **SHE Roles and Responsibilities** * Know and apply Anglo American Quellaveco’s SHE values, principles, and policy, and contribute to its zero-harm vision. * Ensure that SHE hazard and risk control measures related to assigned activities are implemented at the workplace to enable safe work execution. * Comply with standards, procedures, and internal regulations of the Management System; actively participate in training, awareness, and Zero-Harm culture development sessions. * Promptly report unsafe acts and conditions, as well as incidents. **Qualifications \-Academic background, licenses, and language** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. * Valid driver’s license Class A\-I or higher (mandatory). * Intermediate English proficiency (desirable but not mandatory). **Professional experience** * Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in similar roles (process management, integrated management systems, auditing, or similar). * Experience using Microsoft Office tools and intermediate-level Power BI. * Experience in internal control or auditing (desirable). **SHE Competencies** * Ability to identify SHE hazards and risks associated with one’s activities, as well as recognize effective controls already implemented. **Additional Information \-About the role** * Work schedule: 5x2 (hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote). * Location: City of Moquegua. * Reports to: Social Performance Supervisor. * Contract type: Permanent. **Application deadline** * Sunday, January 08. **Next steps** If you proceed to the next stage, you will receive an email from us inviting you to complete your first assessment on our HireVue platform and fill out a data form via Microsoft Forms.
