Position Summary: A leading company in the mining and infrastructure sector is seeking a General Accountant to supervise accounting, financial statements, and construction projects, ensuring regulatory compliance. A nationally recognized leader in mining and infrastructure projects is seeking a General Accountant for growth purposes to work at its offices in Moquegua, Peru. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Must be licensed and authorized by the Professional Association (mandatory). * Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Accountant. * Experience in construction companies or construction projects. * Knowledge of IFRS and Peruvian accounting standards. * Knowledge of Peruvian tax legislation (SUNAT). * Knowledge of VAT (IGV), Income Tax, withholding payments (detracciones), collections (percepciones), and tax withholdings (retenciones). * Proficiency in accounting systems (CONCAR, SISCONT, CONTASS, SAP, or others). * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Record and supervise the company's general accounting in accordance with IFRS and Peruvian tax regulations. * Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Monitor project-based accounting and cost centers for construction projects. * Supervise the recording of ongoing works, valuations, advances, withholdings, and project settlements. * Monitor budgets, actual costs, and cost variances per project. * Supervise invoicing for valuations and construction contracts. * Supervise payroll, employee benefits, and social contributions.
