SSOMA Supervisor

**JOB OBJECTIVE** Supervise, control and ensure compliance with Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental regulations in the company’s **well drilling operations**, preventing accidents, incidents and environmental damage, guaranteeing safe working conditions for personnel, equipment and infrastructure—particularly in projects carried out for clients located in the **Olmos area**—strictly adhering to current legal regulations and the organization’s internal standards. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Halt any task or operation presenting an imminent hazard and/or being conducted under substandard conditions threatening the integrity of people, equipment and infrastructure, until such hazards are fully eliminated. * Comply with and ensure proper implementation of the Operational Unit’s Annual Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Program. * Conduct and participate in inspections, supervision activities and audits of tasks and facilities, verifying compliance with **Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM** and other applicable legal regulations. * Participate in investigations of incidents and accidents with high potential for harm, identifying root causes and establishing preventive and corrective measures. * Prepare and submit inspection reports on: * Lighting in work areas * Condition and operational status of fire extinguishers * Management and handling of solid waste * Report monthly on the Operational Unit’s Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Management performance, using management reports and indicators. * Promote a culture of prevention and compliance with safety and environmental regulations among all site personnel. * Maintain readiness and flexibility in response to external site-specific factors—such as adverse weather conditions (high temperatures, heat exposure, etc.)—adapting control and preventive measures according to operational requirements. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * A professionally **qualified** graduate in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or related fields. * **Minimum 3 years’ experience** as an SSOMA Supervisor in construction, mining or similar projects. * Knowledge of and proficiency in applying **Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM** and current legal regulations on occupational safety and health. * Availability for fieldwork under project-based employment terms. **WORKING CONDITIONS** * Employment type: Project-based regime * **Payment: End of month** * Work location: Project / Operational Unit Job type: Full-time Salary: S/.3,000.00 – S/.3,500.00 per month Willingness to travel: * 100% (Desirable) Work location: Regular travel
