We are seeking a Safety Engineer to ensure compliance with SSOMA standards by implementing plans and controls on the project.

We are looking for a highly qualified and committed Safety Engineer!
We seek a professional responsible for ensuring field-level compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) standards, guaranteeing correct implementation of plans, procedures, and controls established within the project.
**Requirements:**
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Safety Engineer.
✔ Degree-holding and licensed professional in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety Engineering, or related fields.
✔ Specialization in Occupational Health and Safety.
✔ Minimum 2 years of experience as an SSOMA Engineer in the mining sector.
✔ Knowledge of occupational risk prevention and management systems ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS 18001\.
✔ Proficiency in SSOMA management tools.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Train, supervise, and ensure field-level compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Plan, Environmental Management Plan, RISST, and other established guidelines, promptly reporting detected deviations to the Site SSOMA Manager.
* Train personnel on the Emergency Response Plan.
* Supervise and verify compliance with Safe Operating Procedures (PETS).
* Monitor proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by personnel.
* Conduct periodic PPE inspections for operational staff.
* Supervise correct assembly and use of certified scaffolding per established procedures.
* Verify and approve proper completion of ATS forms by personnel.
* Train and ensure formation and training of emergency response teams.
* Deliver scheduled safety talks and conduct inductions for visitors prior to site entry.
* Supervise order and cleanliness in work areas.
* Actively participate in incident and accident investigations per the SSOMA Management System.
* Coordinate execution of emergency drills.
* Manage evacuation and care of injured personnel according to event severity.
* Daily supervision and inspection of permits and critical activities conducted in the field.
* Inspect electrical panels and coordinate LOTO-related training.
* Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (Law No. 29783\).
