We are looking for a passionate **Business Intelligence Specialist** who values analytics and information quality, with strong expertise in Power BI and data modeling. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain **advanced dashboards and reports** that support strategic and tactical decision-making. * Execute and optimize **data modeling** (star schema, snowflake), ensuring efficient structures for analytics. * Ensure **quality, consistency, and traceability** of metrics through formal documentation of KPIs, sources, and calculation logic. * Implement and follow **best practices in data governance** during development, distribution, and maintenance of reports (versioning, traceability, definition control). * Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to translate needs into **scalable analytical solutions**. * Participate in projects involving **integration of new data sources** (structured and unstructured: APIs, JSON, CSV). * Support team analysts in applying standards and analytical methodologies when necessary. ### **Experience and Technical Skills** * 3 years of experience in BI roles * Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics. * Advanced proficiency in **Power BI** (DAX, Power Query, visual design, and modeling). * Advanced knowledge of **SQL** for complex queries and relational model construction. * **Advanced Excel** (complex formulas, handling large volumes; macros desirable). * Experience in **relational data modeling** and designing scalable analytical structures. * Experience applying **data governance**: version control, traceability, and definition documentation. * Experience connecting to and working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL). * Handling of unstructured sources (APIs, JSON, CSV). * Basic knowledge of **Python** for automation and validations (desirable). ### **Soft Skills** * Structured thinking and strong focus on information quality. * Ability for **abstraction and conceptual modeling**. * Proactivity and autonomy in identifying improvements in analytical processes. * Strong communication skills with technical and business areas. * Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues. ### **Why Join Tigo** You’ll find a dynamic and collaborative environment where data drives decisions that connect thousands of people every day.
