Production Assistant

**Mission or objective:** Operate the dissolution, loading, and sampling system for raw materials and finished products, with the purpose of ensuring a product that meets required quality standards. **Functions:** Control the dissolution of technical nitrate, verify field instruments and operational parameters in the dissolver area to ensure supply of the input (NASOL), in coordination with the lead operator. Take diffusion samples, oxidizing solution and fuel, raw materials, and final product to ensure and meet quality standards in coordination with the emulsions analyst. Monitor reactor operations, mixing temperature, and matrix pumping to the silo in order to report any anomalies and/or shortages in input stock. Perform all tasks associated with plant operations using current operating procedures. Control the temperature of the ammonium nitrate solution in the dissolver and storage system to prevent variations in the oxidizing solution preparation process. Operate equipment and tanks in the dissolver plant to report deficiencies detected in the production process to the lead operator and immediate supervisor. Monitor the filling of emulsion into silos to ensure proper storage and prevent spills. **Requirements:** Desirable 1 year of experience in production plants. Class A1 driver's license Desirable technician in electronic/electrical and/or mechanical maintenance Desirable knowledge in production processes. Desirable knowledge in Emulsion Handling. Responsibilities:**ON SITE:** Key responsibilities include: · **Attendance reporting:** The operator must record daily attendance promptly, either through an electronic timekeeping system or manual attendance tracking, according to the company's established procedures. · **Communication with work team:** Maintain clear communication with other operators, site supervisors, and project personnel to efficiently coordinate daily activities. · **Material transportation:** Load, transport, and unload materials such as soil, sand, gravel, cement, debris, and others from the loading point to the designated location on site. · **Safe vehicle operation:** Operate the dump truck safely, complying with traffic regulations and terrain conditions, especially in work areas with limited access. · **Load verification:** Ensure loads are properly distributed and do not exceed established weight limits, preventing damage to cargo, vehicle, or safety risks. · **Equipment inspection:** Conduct regular inspections of the dump truck before and after each work shift, checking oil levels, coolant, tires, brakes, and other critical components to ensure proper vehicle function. · **Reporting malfunctions and incidents:** If mechanical or safety issues with the dump truck are detected, or if an incident occurs during transport or unloading, the operator must submit a detailed incident report specifying the nature of the problem, possible causes, and actions taken. This report must be submitted to the supervisor or maintenance department. · **Efficient unloading:** Coordinate orderly and efficient unloading of materials at the correct location, using the dump truck or unloading equipment (if necessary). · **Team collaboration:** Work closely with other operators and site workers to coordinate material movement and ensure smooth workflow. **Safety compliance:** Follow established occupational health and safety procedures on site to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including helmets, gloves, reflective vests, and safety goggles.
