At Credicorp Capital, we are looking for a passionate talent to fill the **Junior Backend Developer** role and join our technology team. **Mission** You will be responsible for driving digital transformation by developing Java-based products and services delivered quickly and efficiently, applying agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities** * Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, retrospectives) and keep tasks updated in tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. * Propose improvements in architecture, processes, and tools to optimize time and quality. * Design, develop, and maintain backend components (Java, SOAP Services, or REST APIs). * Refactor code, improve performance, and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. * Implement unit, integration, and functional tests, ensuring the minimum test coverage defined by the team. * Create and maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on developments, architectures, and processes. * Ensure frequent and secure deliveries meeting their minimum requirements. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, Software, or related fields. * 1-2 years of experience participating in projects involving Java backend components. * Knowledge of languages and frameworks: Java 7 or higher versions, Spring Boot, Hibernate, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. * Knowledge of databases: SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL. * Familiarity with tools: Eclipse, PL/SQL Developer, SoapUI, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git. * Knowledge of testing tools: JUnit, QA tools. ***This opportunity is also available to people with disabilities.***
