Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a CAD Drafter to create and maintain standardized templates, digitize "as-built" drawings, and coordinate technical information in engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain standardized CAD templates with various symbol libraries.
2. Model and update "as-built" drawings across multiple disciplines.
3. Technical coordination and change control management for drawings.
**I. RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Create and maintain standardized CAD templates (layers, styles, dynamic blocks, dimensions, scales, and labels), ensuring correct use of electrical, sanitary, and architectural symbols.
* Digitize field sketches and surveys, modeling and updating "as\-built" drawings for water, power, drainage, and architecture with geometric accuracy.
* Clean up and organize legacy files, managing layers, blocks, external references (Xrefs), and georeferencing processes where applicable.
* Draft and update sanitary networks considering slopes, fittings, and invert elevations, as well as preparing plans and isometrics where applicable.
* Prepare and update electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, panel boards, load schedules, conduits, and circuit routing.
* Update architectural drawings by incorporating walls, openings, equipment, and existing infrastructure based on field surveys.
* Incorporate topographic data (points, contours, benchmarks, and technical references) using Civil 3D when required.
* Coordinate with the Project Engineer and Surveying Department to validate technical information and address comments.
* Manage change control through versioning, drawing history, revision clouds, and comment lists.
* Issue drawings for review, construction, and operation, ensuring compliance with technical and documentation standards.

* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, including layer management, dynamic blocks, external references (Xrefs), layouts, viewports, dimension styles, and plot configuration.
* Knowledge of electrical symbols (panel boards, circuits, and conduits), sanitary symbols (pipes, manholes, and fittings), and basic architectural symbols.
* Familiarity with document management tools, including standardized naming conventions, folder organization, eTransmit, and revision control.
* Intermediate-level MS Excel skills for preparing schedules, quantity takeoffs, and technical data management.
* Intermediate-level Civil 3D knowledge (preferred) for surface and topographic work.
