On behalf of our client—a company in the industrial sector—we are seeking a Refrigeration Technician to ensure optimal performance of refrigeration systems. This role is critical to maintaining appropriate temperature and product quality conditions, thereby guaranteeing plant operational efficiency. **Job Mission** Ensure the proper operation of industrial refrigeration systems, maintaining the required conditions for preservation of finished products and raw materials. **Responsibilities** * Operate and monitor cold rooms, freezing tunnels, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and associated equipment. * Verify temperatures, pressures, operating cycles, and technical conditions of the industrial refrigeration system. * Record critical refrigeration parameters according to frequencies defined by Quality, Production, Warehouse, and Operations. * Detect deviations, abnormal noises, leaks, alarms, or potential failures, and immediately report alerts. * Coordinate with specialized vendors for inspections, corrections, and maintenance of the refrigeration system. * Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks, technical cleaning, and permitted inspections within scope of authority. * Ensure cold rooms and refrigerated zones maintain required conditions for finished products or raw materials. * Support prevention of losses due to cold chain breaks, improper storage, or failure of critical equipment. * Comply with safety procedures for cold environment work, equipment intervention, and movement inside cold rooms. * Support audits, inspections, and reviews related to temperature, storage, and preservation. * Report requirements for spare parts, services, calibrations, maintenance, and improvements to the refrigeration system. * Coordinate with Warehouse, Quality, and Production regarding product entry, storage, and exit under appropriate conditions. **Requirements** * Technical degree in Industrial Refrigeration, Refrigeration Mechanics, Industrial Electricity, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in operation or maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems. * Desired experience in food plants, cold storage facilities, frozen food operations, agro-industry, or refrigerated warehouses. * Knowledge of temperature control, pressure management, basic maintenance, and early fault detection. * Preferred experience with industrial refrigeration systems matching the technology used at the plant. * Ability to record parameters, communicate alerts, and coordinate with specialized technical vendors. * Availability to respond to cold-chain-related operational emergencies as required by the plant. **Value Proposition** Indefinite-term contract, with a competitive salary range and performance bonus.
