(PE02\) Location: Projects Our company **COSAPI (P001\)** is looking for the best talent for the position of: **PIPING DESIGN ENGINEER** **Responsibilities and functions** --------------------------------- * Develop engineering designs according to their specialty. * Review and verify drawings prepared by drafters or designers. * Apply quality management system procedures applicable to design development. * Review project-related standards and regulations. * Perform preliminary, basic, and detailed engineering development and prepare technical documentation (descriptive reports, calculation reports, technical specifications, quantity takeoffs). * Prepare and review drawings (plant layouts, elevations, sections, isometrics, operational diagrams). **Requirements** -------------- * Mechanical Engineer, preferably licensed. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing piping systems for industrial plants, especially in mining projects. * In-depth knowledge of designing piping systems for transporting water, chemicals, gases, and other industrial fluids typical in mining plants. * Experience in designing, modeling, and preparing piping drawings according to international standards such as ASME B31\.3, API 650, ISO 14692, among others. * Advanced proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD, AutoPlant, PDMS, Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, and SmartPlant. * Knowledge of piping support system design, thermal stress analysis, and vibration control in piping systems, ensuring their structural and operational integrity. * Experience integrating piping systems into the design of industrial plants, such as desalination plants, potable water and wastewater treatment systems, and mining industrial processes. * Ability to coordinate and work with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, process engineering) to ensure proper installation and integration of piping networks.
