Ensuring compliance with electrical and safety regulations. **About the Position** We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to take responsibility for the installation, verification, and improvement of the electrical system at our mineral processing plant. Your mission is to ensure that equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently by evaluating wiring conditions and proposing improvements to the electrical infrastructure. **Main Responsibilities** * Install, verify, and commission plant electrical equipment (motors, switchboards, power and control systems). * Review and evaluate cable sizing, verifying that conductor gauge is appropriate for each load. * Diagnose the current condition of the electrical system and propose improvements to optimize energy consumption and reliability. * Design and supervise power, control, and lighting installations. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and installations. * Verify grounding systems and protective devices. * Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. * Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for installations. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Electrical Technician certification with relevant experience. * Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical installations (experience in mining or processing plants preferred). * Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). * Proficiency in conductor sizing, switchboard design, protection devices, and power/control systems. * Familiarity with safety regulations (Law No. 29783 – Occupational Safety and Health). * Willingness to work on-site under shift-based schedule Salary: S/.5,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
