Job Summary:
Ensure compliance with standards and legislation in electrical construction work by managing project quality and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage quality in electrical construction projects.
2. Lead root cause analysis and quality training.
3. Verify and control electrical technical documentation.
**What will be your responsibilities?**
Ensure compliance with applicable national and international standards and current legislation during the execution of construction work in the Electrical discipline.
**What do we expect from you?**
\- Licensed and registered Electrical or Electronics Engineer.
\- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC construction for medium- and/or small-scale mining projects, specifically in structural and electromechanical installation.
**What will be your responsibilities?**
**\-** Develop the quality plan or inspection and test plan for the project or service, and follow up for its approval.
\- Develop operational procedures and record formats specific to the Electrical discipline, and follow up for their approval.
\- Manage and control field records in accordance with the progress of the assigned project.
\- Manage, control, and track field non-conformities (identify and report non-conforming products) within the Electrical discipline.
\- Prepare the project quality dossier, coordinating with each responsible party for its compilation.
\- Prepare the document control matrix for documents to be managed on site.
\- Schedule and coordinate quality control activities for the assigned project.
\- Control electrical work materials (specifications, certifications, and warranties) both on site and in warehouses.
\- Lead root cause analysis for non-conformities within the Electrical discipline.
\- Verify that the electrical drawings used in the field are current and bear the "controlled copy" stamp.
\- Verify that outdated drawings bear the "obsolete" stamp.
\- Maintain the calibration plan for monitoring and measuring equipment up to date.
\- Prepare quality reports or reports and submit them to the central office department.
\- Follow up on results of inspections, measurements, and tests applicable to activity control.
\- Participate in the preparation and closure process of the punch list.
\- Develop and lead a quality training program, and train all project personnel.
\- Conduct quality assurance inspections for the Electrical discipline.
\- Keep quality documentation updated within the folder structure.
\- Document corrective actions and follow up on each one.
\- Track and follow up on lessons learned from the Electrical discipline.
\- Train personnel on operational procedures specific to the Electrical discipline.
