If you are interested in this position and wish to build a career with our company, we invite you to join our team! **What are the main responsibilities of this role?** * Receive and review all documents and forms to be used (Discharge Plan, Stowage Plan, Packing List, and Bill of Lading). * During each shift, verify correct handling and segregation of cargo according to the Bill of Lading. * Maintain meticulous and accurate daily tally of discharged goods to prevent shortages or overages, coordinated with the union tally clerk and zone personnel if cargo is moved. * Maintain control over exact quantities of cargo dispatched, remaining on the dock, and pending discharge per consignee. * Coordinate with SCG and tally clerks on allocation of stowage points, considering cargo type and consignees. * At the end of each shift, report service developments to the shift supervisor and General Cargo Planner, including total daily cargo tally per hold—specifying discharged quantity, pending dispatch, and balances per hold—as well as briefing the relief staff on all occurrences; do not leave post until properly relieved. * Upon completion of the shift, submit the partial report to the Planning Department (quantity report). * The Liquidator is responsible for verifying that all discharged cargo is tallied by the tally clerk; likewise, cargo sent to Zone \# 2 or Warehouse 9 must be tallied. * Oversee activities related to transfer, receipt, storage, and dispatch of Breakbulk Cargo and Roll-on/Roll-off cargo, including tallying via system or manual form. **What talent are we looking for?** * Graduate of a technical or university program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, or related fields. * Two years’ experience supervising, controlling, and verifying various cargo types during vessel operations at the dock or warehouse cargo handling, and/or managing logs serving as entry/exit control records. * Proficiency in MS Office required. * Availability to work onsite in Callao under rotating shifts.
