Ensures availability, scalability, and security of environments with CI/CD pipelines and system observability align with the regional core definitions for the environments. **Core responsibilities:** * Design, configuration, and administration of the Datalake tools in the environment * Deployment and configuration automation. * Fine tunning of the local workspaces for local data projects * Container management and orchestration (docker and Kubernetes) * Implementation and maintenance of CI/CD align with the regional team direction * System performance, monitoring and observability (logs, metrics, traces) * Management of application lifecycle across testing, staging and production * Secure review and configuration of open\-source services and basic devsecops practices * Cost and infrastructure optimization * Documentation of operational processes and fine\-tuning configuration applied. **Requirements/Qualifications:** * Operating Systems – Linux (preferable Rocky) * Infrastructure as code (Ansible) * Orchestration (Kubernetes K8\), Openshift (nice to have) * CI/CD – GitLab, Jenkins, FluxCD * Cloud – AWS * Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack) * Version Control (Git) * Networking (TCP/IP/DNS) * Security (Hardening, secret management, Vault * Databases (Oracle, PostgresSQL, MySQL, Valkey\-Redis * Additional Tools (Ceph, Trino, Superset) * Post\-graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics or a related subject. * 3\+ years of experience in Devops or related roles. **Ingredients for success:** * Effective Communication with cross functional teams * Automation and continuous improvement mindset * Strong Problem\-solving and analytical thinking * Adaptability to new open\-source technologies * Teamwork and agile methodologies * Experience with microservices architectures (nice to have) * Knowledge of messaging platforms (Kafka) * Hands\-on experience running highly.
