Job Summary: We are seeking a Purchasing Analyst with experience in supplier management and negotiation to optimize procurement of goods and services, ensuring operational efficiency and cost reduction. We are looking for a Purchasing Analyst: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or university graduate in Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields. Knowledge of negotiation techniques and supplier management. Prior experience of 2 to 3 years in purchasing functions, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in SAP system, specifically in MM module. Analytical skills to evaluate quotations, compare prices and conditions, and make informed purchasing decisions. Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities: Collaborate with various company departments to understand and analyze requirements for procurement of goods and services. Evaluate technical specifications and requirements of requested products or services. Research and assess potential suppliers based on their capacity to meet company needs. Conduct comparative analyses of suppliers, considering price, quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms. Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, discounts, payment terms, and delivery conditions. Identify opportunities to obtain better commercial terms and reduce costs. Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures. Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of requested goods or services. Collaborate with the inventory team to manage and optimize inventory levels in accordance with the company’s operational and financial needs. Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and improve stock turnover. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, effectively communicating the company’s requirements and expectations. Proactively resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchasing and suppliers. In case of absence, be replaced by the Purchasing Assistant.
