**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* The Site Resident Engineer shall be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and control of the project in the field, ensuring adherence to schedules, costs, quality, and established guidelines. They must directly lead on-site production, organizing daily activities, assigning tasks to personnel, and supervising the proper execution of work items per drawings and technical specifications.
* They shall coordinate the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and labor, verifying that requests align with actual project progress, thereby avoiding cost overruns, unnecessary purchases, or delays due to supply shortages. Additionally, they must collaborate closely with logistics and the technical team to ensure an efficient flow of resources.
* During execution, they shall monitor labor productivity, optimize on-site resources, and make operational decisions to sustain productivity and meet established schedules. They are responsible for implementing and tracking the construction schedule, identifying deviations, and proposing corrective actions to recover progress when necessary.
* They shall supervise the quality of completed works, verifying compliance of work items with required standards and preventing rework or subsequent observations. Furthermore, they shall promptly identify hidden defects, drawing inconsistencies, or unforeseen conditions, communicating them immediately and substantively for technical and economic resolution.
* The Site Resident Engineer is primarily responsible for daily site control, reporting progress, incidents, requirements, and constraints through structured reports, including photographic evidence and activity tracking.
* They shall also lead the on-site team—including operational staff, administrator, and warehouse personnel—ensuring order, discipline, functional compliance, and appropriate use of materials and tools.
* In the final stage, they shall coordinate project closeout, ensuring all work items are completed, organizing the resolution of observations, and guaranteeing delivery in accordance with client requirements.
* Finally, they shall maintain constant communication with the Construction Coordinator and other involved departments, ensuring operational alignment and project objective achievement.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (licensed/registered).
* Minimum 3–5 years of construction project execution experience.
* Experience as a Site Resident Engineer or Assistant Site Resident Engineer.
* Experience in retail construction projects (preferred).
* Experience in field personnel and production control.
**KNOWLEDGE:**
* Drawing reading and interpretation.
* Technical specifications (EETT).
* Quantity take-offs and budgeting.
* Construction control (progress, costs, productivity).
* MS Project (intermediate level).
* Excel (for control and reporting).
* On-site resource management.
