Job Summary: We are seeking an SSOMA Engineer to lead occupational safety and health, manage risks, deliver training, and ensure regulatory compliance on-site. Key Highlights: 1. Participates in audits and development of environmental safety plans MEGAPACK TRADING SAC **– is seeking personnel to fill the position of:** **SSOMA Engineer – Marcona Branch \- (Full-time On-site)** **Residence Location: Marcona** **Responsibilities** * Deliver the five-minute safety talk jointly with supervisors; provide safety induction to new staff. * Assign staff to their respective work areas and verify correct wearing of PPE. * Review and/or revise the IPERC, Baseline, PEPS; complete the RACS form. * Complete various forms (with photographic evidence) for: vehicle disinfection, dining area, changing rooms, PPE, OSH, warehouse, and offices. * Deliver safety and environmental training, conduct motivational activities, and perform drills. * Monitor and/or inspect green areas, order and cleanliness, solid waste segregation and disposal. * Implement and report on the development of the COVID-19 prevention protocol. * Monitor and/or inspect stretchers, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, tools, work areas, PPE, and harnesses. * Prepare weekly safety follow-up reports with photographs. * Prepare and submit the PPE Kardex, as well as PPE requisitions. * Digitize completed forms and other documents filled out during the week. * Review modifications and/or corrections to documentation. * Prepare monthly safety and environmental reports. * Organize elections and participate in the Occupational Safety and Health Committee meeting. * Develop the annual occupational safety and health and environmental plan. * Participate in internal and external process audits. * Prepare documents and photographic evidence for homologations. * Participate in environmental campaigns and cross-inspections. * Comply with internal company provisions specified in the RIT and RISST. * Safeguard one’s own integrity, that of third parties, and work tools, reporting risk situations to the immediate supervisor. * Perform other duties inherent to the position or assigned by the direct supervisor. **Requirements** University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields (Professional License required) Minimum experience: 03 years in Mining/Gas/Petroleum/Services sectors, and similar positions: SSOMA Manager / SSOMA Engineer / SSOMA Supervisor Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards, and safety and environmental regulations Desirable: Class AIIB driver's license Submit documented CV **Skills** * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Communication and presentation skills Type of position: Full-time Salary: Starting from S/.2,800.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have experience in the mining/petroleum/gas/services sector?
