Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly in mining. **Location:** Las Bambas Mining Unit / Challhuahuacho **Start Date:** 06/2026 **Employment Mode:** Plant shutdown (temporary) **Work Schedule:** \[e.g., 14x7 / as per project] **Job Description:** We are currently seeking Mechanical Assembly Operators to join our team during a plant shutdown at a mining unit. The candidate will be responsible for performing assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and adjustment of mechanical components, strictly adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assemble and disassemble mechanical equipment (chutes, conveyor belts, structures, spool replacement, pulley replacement, mill equipment, reliability equipment, pumps, etc.). * Perform alignment, leveling, and adjustment of components. * Support corrective and preventive maintenance during plant shutdowns. * Interpret basic mechanical drawings. * Safely use hand and power tools. * Comply with safety procedures and PPE usage requirements. **Requirements:** * Technical qualification in Maintenance Mechanics, Production, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly within mining or industrial settings. * Proven experience in plant shutdowns (preferred). * Knowledge of reading mechanical drawings and using measuring tools. * Availability to work under mining work schedules and at high altitudes. * Commitment to safety and teamwork. **We Offer:** * Market-competitive remuneration. * Meals, accommodation, and transportation provided. * Statutory insurance coverage. * Opportunity to participate in large-scale projects.
