Job Summary: This role involves executing inspections, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and diagnosing critical failures on heavy machinery, ensuring operational availability. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure the availability of dump trucks through inspections and maintenance. 2. Perform advanced diagnostics of failures in complex systems. 3. Work under a 14x7 schedule with full benefits. **Education:** * Automotive Mechanic Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician or Maintenance Mechanic Technician or related field. * Basic Technical English. **Experience:** * Years of experience with trucks, dump trucks, tractors, etc. * Years of experience in mining operations. * Driver's license, minimum Category A\-IIB. (OPTIONAL) * Basic welding knowledge. * Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems, transmission systems, internal combustion engine systems, and electrical systems. * Advanced knowledge of Volvo, Scania, Mercedes Benz, and Iveco dump trucks. * Familiarity with and ability to operate VCADS diagnostic tools. * Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics. **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct inspections and lubrication at the start of each shift on dump trucks, immediately resolving any faults detected during inspection that could cause downtime and losses during operations. * Ensure dump trucks are in optimal condition and ready for use. * Carry out preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance tasks on dump trucks, adhering to applicable standards and PETS for each specific task. * Resolve faults reported by operators during operations; depending on fault severity, report to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager for evaluation, scheduling, and coordination with the Operations department. * Diagnose fault severity across various systems, determining whether equipment requires major repair (equipment shutdown). * Read and comprehend equipment manuals and catalogs. **Conditions:** We provide meals.
