Job Summary: We are seeking an equipment operator with experience in drilling and blasting, capable of operating jumbo equipment from various brands and maintaining them properly. Key Highlights: 1. Experience operating equipment from different brands. 2. Knowledge of drilling and controlled blasting. 3. Ability to work at heights. **Education:** * Completed secondary education. * Technical certification (OPTIONAL). * Advanced knowledge of jumbo equipment (OPTIONAL). * Class AII b driver's license, zero traffic violations on driving record. * Knowledge of drilling and controlled blasting. **Experience:** * 3 years of experience operating equipment from different brands. * Proficiency in operating two distinct brands. * Defensive driving certification. **Special Conditions:** * Must have passed occupational medical examination. * Ability to perform occasional high-altitude work above 4,000 meters above sea level (masl). * Atypical working hours. **Main Responsibilities:** * Comply with standard instructional procedures assigned to the role. * Comply with internal traffic regulations. * Perform face drilling according to pre-marked grid patterns and parallelism requirements. * Drill faces using the jumbo, applying the respective PETS (for Drilling); or install rock bolts using the jumbo, applying the respective PETS (for Ground Support). * Submit clear and accurate daily work reports for the assigned equipment. * Report any anomalies or malfunctions of the equipment to the foreman and maintenance department. * Operate the equipment properly, ensuring all components are protected. * Assist in equipment maintenance and repair activities when the equipment is out of service. * Other duties assigned by the foreman and shift supervisor. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Perform pre-use equipment checklist before commencing activities. * Comply with safety standards and RIT (Internal Regulations).
