Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Jumbo Operator with expertise in drilling and blasting, capable of working at high altitude and operating equipment from various brands, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of jumbo drilling equipment from different brands 2. Controlled drilling and blasting 3. Work at high altitude (above 4000 msl) **Education:** * Completed secondary education. * Technical certification (OPTIONAL) * Advanced knowledge of jumbo drilling equipment (OPTIONAL). * Class AII b driver’s license, zero traffic violations on driving record. * Knowledge of controlled drilling and blasting. **Experience:** * 3 years’ experience operating equipment from different brands. * Proficiency in operating two distinct brands. * Defensive driving certification. **Special Conditions:** * Must have passed occupational medical examination. * Capability to perform occasional work at high altitude, above 4000 msl. * Atypical work schedule. **Main Responsibilities:** * Comply with applicable standard operating procedures. * Comply with internal traffic regulations. * Perform face drilling following pre-marked pattern and parallelism. * Drill faces using the jumbo, applying the corresponding PETS (for Drilling); or install rock bolts using the jumbo, applying the corresponding PETS (for Ground Support). * Submit clear and accurate daily equipment operation reports. * Report any equipment anomalies or defects to the foreman and maintenance department. * Operate equipment properly, safeguarding all components. * Assist in equipment maintenance and repair activities when equipment is inoperative. * Other duties assigned by the Foreman and Shift Supervisor. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Conduct pre-use equipment checklist prior to commencing operations. * Comply with safety regulations and RIT.
