You will also coordinate the unit’s **general services**, including camp catering, hospitality, staff transportation, minor maintenance, and other services essential to smooth operations. Join Nexa and become part of the mining industry that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Authorities** * Manage the area’s organizational structure and personnel, and related processes: cost and capex management, contracts, productivity, strategic planning, operational excellence, infrastructure, and general services—carrying out planning and monitoring until results are achieved, and developing corrective action plans when necessary. * Identify best market practices and/or develop tools, reports, and processes to enhance performance of activity areas and/or the unit. * Manage unit processes contributing to operational stability of production processes through people development for management. * Handle strategic planning, budgeting, and budget monitoring of expected and actual costs, performing forecasts to meet the unit’s financial targets. * Conduct project feasibility analyses to determine returns contributing to the unit’s sustainability. * Manage the process of defining and implementing the unit’s strategic objectives and goals. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, duly licensed and registered. * Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mining operations. * Proven leadership experience, with at least 2 years serving as Manager or Superintendent. * Solid experience in underground polymetallic mining operations, leading teams and managing high-complexity operations. * Experience in safety management, productivity, costs, planning, and achievement of operational objectives. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Master’s degree or MBA in Mining Management, Business Administration, or related fields. * Experience in integrated mining operations management and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. **Additional Information** We are a global mining and metallurgical company belonging to the Votorantim Group (Brazil).
