Job Summary: Execute the electronic initiation process of blasting, ensuring proper detonation and managing design, programming, and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plans and coordinates blasting tasks and ensures product stock. 2. Designs, programs, connects, and detonates blasts, generating detailed reports. 3. Trains on products and addresses customer needs. **Mission or Objective**: Execute the electronic blasting initiation process to ensure correct detonation according to customer requirements. **Responsibilities**: * Plan and coordinate blasting tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock of Daveytronic products at the operation site. * Perform blasting design, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, post-blast downstream result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. **Requirements**: * Minimum 1 year of experience in underground mining (preferred). * Mining Technician or related degree. * Knowledge of blasting processes (preferred). * Class A2b or A1 driver's license preferred (minimum 3 years of validity).
