ELECTRONIC BLASTING PROGRAMMER

Description

Job Summary: A technical professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing blasting operations, as well as providing training and addressing customer needs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive coordination and execution of blasting processes 2. Generation of blasting reports and performance tracking 3. Product training and customer needs support RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock levels of DaveyTronic products at the operation site. * Verify availability of resources at the operation site or request them as needed. * Perform blasting design, programming, connection, checking, loading, and detonation. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and requests. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 2 years of experience in mining (preferred) * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems (preferred) * Mining Technician or related field * Knowledge of explosives and detonators: usage and properties * Blasting design software * Knowledge of initiation sequence design * Class AIIB driver's license (preferred)
