




Position Summary: Supervise the safety, occupational health, and environmental management system to reduce risks and ensure operational continuity. Key Highlights: 1. SSOMA system supervision and compliance with safety regulations. 2. Participation in work permit management and community relations. 3. Accident analysis and hazard identification to halt operations. Mission and Objective: Supervise compliance with all elements of the safety, occupational health, and environmental management system to minimize process deviations that may cause harm to personnel, equipment, and/or operational continuity Responsibilities: Monitor compliance with safety regulations. * Support work permit management. • Support community relations management • Participate in social programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives • Channel and report conflicts or incidents involving communities * Track implementation of action plans for identified risk controls. * Participate in developing baseline IPERCs and monitor their updates. * Advise line management in generating risk inventories. * Conduct SSOMA-related training, inductions, and drills per schedule. * Prepare monthly SSOMA management reports with indicators and summaries. * Analyze accidents using HSEC system methodologies. * Identify exposure agents and halt high-risk operations. * Ensure supervisory presence during high-risk activities. * Report progress and compliance status of the SSOMA program. * Supervise use of PPE and compliance with the SSOMA Management System. * Follow PETS procedures; conduct OPTs, OPSs, and inspections. * Report incidents and participate in investigations and corrective action closure. Requirements: + Preferably 4 years of experience in safety and/or SSOMA within mining operations + Preferably 2 years of experience in blasting + Degree holder and registered professional in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy, or related fields + Training or specialized studies in safety and environment, with a minimum duration of 120 hours
