Position Purpose: Manage the service contract comprehensively according to the responsibilities established with clients, supervise heavy equipment maintenance work performed by technical personnel assigned to service contracts with clients (mining companies and/or mining contractor companies) at mining units under major site service contracts (more than 25 people). Additionally, if required, intervene or carry out specialized technical tasks within the framework of health, safety, and environmental protection. Functions: * Implement maintenance programs according to manufacturer standards for equipment. * Carry out and/or participate in scheduling and planning of equipment maintenance services according to factory standards. Supervise equipment maintenance work at mine workshops, surface workshops, working areas or operational fronts, and other locations as required. * Coordinate with the client and/or Zonal Leader of Contracts all activities related to equipment under responsibility. * Approve and/or generate requests for supplies, materials, and spare parts for equipment maintenance services. * Schedule the use of and/or provide instructions for returning medium and low rotation spare parts, or those with no consumption, from consignment inventory back to the main warehouse. * Approve and/or prepare technical reports on working conditions, failures, accidents, and warranty claims for equipment. * Approve and/or prepare equipment performance reports. * Approve and/or prepare the monthly service and safety management report for the contract. * Present, justify, and obtain client approval for the monthly invoicing of the contracted service. * Participate in shift start and end meetings conducted by the client with operations and service departments. * Operate vehicles (4x4 pickup trucks) assigned to the service contract for transporting service personnel, and equipment, components, tools, instruments, supplies, materials, and spare parts. This requirement also includes transportation of visiting personnel from Sandvik Lima and/or foreign visitors engaged in activities related to the service provided by Sandvik to the client, and/or external visitors authorized by Sandvik. Regarding subordinate personnel: * Report staff absences or deviations to the HR department for appropriate disciplinary actions or recognitions. * Identify and manage personnel development to establish succession plans and/or appropriately select resources under supervision. * Promote technical skill development among personnel through communication, presentations, and/or discussions on problem-solving or new ideas to achieve faster and more efficient equipment support. * Manage personnel assigned to the contract—supervisory, administrative, or technical—in terms of scheduling and distribution. Requirements: * Professional license and degree—Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineer, or related fields, preferably with specialization in heavy equipment for open-pit mining. * More than 4 years of experience in supervisory roles in heavy equipment maintenance within the segment served. * Experience in management, administration, and logistics systems (desirable). * Experience in implementation and control of work plans (desirable). * English: Intermediate level. * Possess authorizations established by Sandvik and clients for operating light vehicles (4x4 pickup trucks) under the service contract, provided that the individual has been designated as a driver. * Must not have medical restrictions preventing work at mining sites located along the coast, highlands, and jungle regions of Peru where we have service contracts (essential). * Must not have restrictions regarding the use of PPE, which is mandatory to perform duties according to legal requirements set by affiliated companies, clients, and Sandvik (essential).
