Job Summary: Supervise and coordinate mining operations, ensuring safety, environmental protection, and compliance with targets and regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Responsibility for regulatory compliance and risk prevention **Education:** * Graduate, licensed, and registered professional in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Knowledge of labor regulations, safety, occupational health, and environmental standards * Familiarity with mine services (civil works, hydraulic backfilling, water and slurry pumping, pipeline installation, structural welding, road maintenance) * Knowledge of Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 \& ISO 45001\) * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within the mining industry. **Special Conditions:** * Ability to work at altitudes above 4,000 meters above sea level. * Atypical working hours * Driver's license A1 – A2B (desirable) Main Responsibilities: * Comply with, and ensure compliance with, current legal regulations, as well as company procedures, directives, and other established provisions. * Coordinate, direct, and supervise operations, safety and environmental management, and achievement of established targets. * Supervise assigned personnel regarding assigned tasks. * Assign personnel to their respective duties at the start of each shift. * Take all necessary precautions to protect workers by verifying and analyzing whether the Identification of Hazards, Risk Assessment and Control (IPERC) conducted by workers in their work area has been properly implemented, in order to eliminate or minimize risks. * Instruct and verify that workers understand and comply with standards and PETS, and correctly use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task. * Inform workers about workplace hazards. * Monitor environmental aspects associated with each activity in the work plan. * Investigate situations deemed hazardous by workers or members of the Safety and Health Sub-Committee. * Verify that workers operate machinery with protective guards properly installed. * Verify that lockout procedures are followed for machinery undergoing maintenance. * Instruct and verify that workers understand and comply with standards and PETS, and operate machinery with protective guards properly installed. * Respond immediately to any reported hazard or environmental issue at the workplace. * Be responsible for one’s own safety and that of workers under one’s supervision. * Provide first aid and facilitate evacuation of injured worker(s) in danger. * Halt operations or activities in high-risk situations until such risks have been eliminated or minimized. * Ensure continuous presence of a technical supervisor during high-risk mining activities, as determined by risk assessment. * Notify incoming shift supervisors in writing of any hazards or risks requiring attention in activities under one’s supervision. Incoming shift supervisors must evaluate information provided by outgoing shift supervisors to prevent incidents, prioritizing critical or high-risk activities. * Request materials and tools from the warehouse for scheduled work. * Develop procedures for tasks performed in one’s work zone—especially critical tasks—and submit them to the Environmental Protection, Safety and Occupational Health Department. * Adhere to company-established blasting schedules. * Verify execution of mine services tasks (pipeline installation, civil works, structural welding, water and slurry pumping), hydraulic backfilling, and road maintenance. * Attend shift assignment meetings. * Implement management tools scheduled by the Environmental Protection, Safety and Occupational Health Department. * Participate in planning for various stages of mining operations. * Conduct control and submission of work reports using established formats. **Benefits:** * 100% covered accommodation * 100% covered meals * Bonuses * Formal employment with all statutory benefits (CTS, bonuses, vacation, profit sharing) * 14 x 7 work schedule Work Location: On-site employment
