This is how we develop mining—always attuned to change, supported by committed, inspired, and continuously developing people. **Join Nexa and be part of the mining that moves with the world!** **\#womenintalentinmining** **Responsibilities and Authorities** * Supervise and ensure proper implementation of environmental commitments in mining and/or remediation projects at the Pasco complex, guaranteeing compliance with applicable regulations, approved Environmental Management Instruments (IGA), and corporate standards in safety, health, and environment. * Supervise field execution of operational and environmental projects (mine closure, remediation of environmental liabilities, operation of environmental components, etc.). * Verify compliance with commitments established in instruments such as EIAs, ITS, PMAs, closure plans, and amendments. * Coordinate with contractors to ensure correct implementation of environmental management measures (dust control, water management, waste management, revegetation, physical and geochemical stability, among others). * Conduct periodic environmental inspections, identify deviations, and ensure implementation of corrective actions. * Prepare technical environmental monitoring reports and submissions to authorities such as OEFA and MINEM. * Support responses to regulatory inspections, environmental audits, and due diligence processes. * Coordinate with internal departments (operations, safety, social) to ensure integrated environmental management. * Manage minor permits and environmental procedures where applicable. * Promote environmental best practices and a culture of compliance in the field. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Environmental Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, Chemist, Geologist, or related degree. * Minimum 4–7 years of experience in environmental management in mining. * Field supervision experience in projects (closure, construction, operation, or remediation). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Experience in mining units is desirable. **Additional Information** * Work Location: El Porvenir * Work Modality: On-site (14x7\) At NEXA, we operate in a diverse environment where people feel free to be themselves.
