Job Summary: Supervise and execute the electronic initiation process of blasting, ensuring correct detonation and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the proper functioning of DaveyTronic equipment 2. Carry out the complete electronic blasting process 3. Coordinate blasting activities with clients and provide training Mission and/or Objective: Supervise and execute the electronic initiation process of blasting to ensure correct detonation according to client requirements. Responsibilities: * Ensure the proper functioning of DaveyTronic equipment: perform checklists, communication tests between devices, and mine mapping for wireless initiations * Perform the design, programming, connection, verification, charging, and electronic detonation process using required equipment to achieve successful blasting * Ensure adequate stock levels of DaveyTronic products are maintained at the operation site. * Generate periodic reports on incidents related to handling and/or the electronic blasting process using established formats. * Ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding risk prevention and operations in accordance with company and/or client guidelines. * Guarantee customer satisfaction by addressing needs and requirements within established timeframes to fulfill our commitments * Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process reports. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of practical or professional experience related to surface and/or underground mining operations * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems * Mining engineering or related degree preferred * Knowledge of blasting processes, use and properties of explosives and detonators, and risk prevention. * Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office.
