This is how we develop mining—always aligned with change, driven by committed, inspired, and continuously developing people. **Join Nexa and be part of the mining that moves with the world!** **\#WomenTalentedInMining** **Responsibilities and Authorities** * Supervise mineral extraction in underground mine and open-pit mining, ensuring daily production targets are met. * Supervise and coordinate mining operations during the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with mineral production schedules, maintenance of the internal rail line in the underground mine, and safe execution of activities in open-pit mining, guaranteeing adherence to the company’s established safety, quality, and productivity standards. * Coordinate and control maintenance of the rail line in underground mining, verifying its operational availability. * Inspect safety conditions of work fronts, equipment, and personnel prior to each shift start. * Implement and enforce Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) procedures across all assigned activities. * Promptly report incidents, accidents, or operational deviations to the Safety Management area and to the Superintendency. * Lead shift-start meetings (DST – Daily Safety Talk) and 5-minute safety talks. * Manage the performance of assigned personnel, promoting teamwork, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. * Prepare daily production reports, safety indicators, and equipment and rail line availability reports. * Coordinate with maintenance, geology, and planning supervisors to optimize mining and transportation cycles. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Degree in Mining Engineering, registered and licensed. * Training in the Mining Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (Supreme Decree No. 024\-2016\-EM). * Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising mining operations (underground and/or open-pit). * Availability for rotating shifts and work in mining zones. * Knowledge of internal mine rail line maintenance (desirable). * Specialization in mining SSOMA. * Proficiency in productivity indicators and mining software. **Additional Information** * Work Location: Atacocha (Pasco) * Work Schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off At NEXA, we operate in a diverse environment where people feel free to be themselves.
