Position Summary: PALTARUMI S.A.C. is seeking a Refining Manager to lead the integrated operation, control, and optimization of gold and silver refining processes, supervise final product quality, and manage teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and operate gold and silver refining processes. 2. Optimize recovery of precious metals and operational costs. 3. Supervise the quality of doré and refined bars while managing teams. At ***PALTARUMI S.A.C.***, a leading facility for processing gold-bearing minerals, we are currently seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of ***REFINING MANAGER.*** **Requirements** * Chemical or Metallurgical Engineer or related field (licensed and authorized). * Minimum 7 years in mining/metallurgy and 5 years in Au\-Ag refining processes. * Experience in desorption, electrowinning, and smelting (mandatory). * Experience in commissioning refining plants. * Knowledge of metallurgical balances and precious metal recovery. * Familiarity with SSOMA regulations and hazardous substances management. **Responsibilities** * Lead the commissioning and overall operation of the refining area. * Control desorption, smelting, and refining processes to ensure maximum recovery. * Supervise final product quality (doré and refined bars). * Manage inventories, metallurgical balances, and reagent consumption. * Implement continuous improvements to optimize recovery and costs. * Lead the operations team and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. **Skills** * Leadership and team management in demanding environments. * Strong results orientation and operational efficiency. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. * Decision-making under pressure. * Effective communication at all levels. * Collaborative work ethic and safety focus. **Benefits:** * Full company coverage of meals and accommodation. * Statutory benefits (bonuses, CTS, and vacation entitlements). * Formal payroll enrollment from day one. * Profit-sharing based on production performance. * Insurance coverage (Essalud, SCTR, and Life Insurance per Law). * Birthday leave day. * Only commuting assistance provided, from Barranca to the plant.
