Responsibilities: * Oversee issuance of quality certificates for various plant products to guarantee compliance with quality specifications and customer satisfaction. * Supervise verification analyses and necessary checks at the plant(s) to support proper production execution. * Coordinate with the Production Manager regarding identified incidents to correct product quality in accordance with specified parameters. * Make decisions based on quality analysis results to meet specifications of the manufactured product. * Verify correct preparation and standardization of solutions used across laboratories to ensure adherence to stipulated protocols. * Directly manage inputs, reactive materials, and other resources used in quality control to comply with established requirements and ensure products meet defined standards. * Coordinate with plant managers on production plans and programs to best achieve objectives. * Conduct regular meetings with Production Management and the Production Manager to report on intermediate and final product results from the production process and maintain their quality. * Promote open and respectful communication within the operations team and across departments to sustain a positive work environment and facilitate effective task coordination. * Propose new procedures, methods, and modernization systems for equipment and instruments to improve quality control analysis processes. * Set clear daily goals and motivate the team by leading through example and reinforcing positive behaviors to align staff performance with corporate values and production objectives. * Supervise laboratory activities to validate sampling and related work performed therein. * Coordinate and implement equipment maintenance and calibration schedules to resolve technical obstacles faced by the team and maintain operational readiness. * Justify the department’s annual budget to achieve quality objectives. * Verify that workers comply with safety standards, Written Safe Work Procedure (WSWP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Management Procedure (MP), Integrated Management System Policy, Alcohol and Drugs Policy, Stop Work Policy, Internal Labor Regulations, Internal Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, and all company-issued directives, to ensure regulatory compliance and prevent incidents. * Verify that high-risk work procedures are fully implemented, including all required safety analyses and safety measures appropriate to the activity, to ensure tasks are executed under controlled conditions and in accordance with established standards. * Maintain a culture of quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental sustainability to embed responsible practices into daily operations. * Comply with Integrated Management System (IMS) indicators to enable performance monitoring and evidence-based decision-making. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or professional title in Chemical Engineering or related fields * 2 years of experience managing quality control laboratories and environmental laboratories * Knowledge of quality management systems, industrial chemical analysis, and quality control laboratory management.
