Job Summary: We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to coordinate field segregation, collect and analyze juices, raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, and support pest control activities. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination and analysis of samples in production processes. 2. Application of good manufacturing practices and quality standards. 3. Support in pest control programs. LABORATORY ASSISTANT LOCATION: PARAMONGA REQUIREMENTS: Completed secondary education Knowledge of: Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation, Industrial Safety and Hygiene, Current ISO 9001 Standard, and HACCP Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate proper segregation of fields entering the milling process. Collect and analyze samples, beginning with juice samples. Collect and prepare samples of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products in distillery and sugar processing operations, according to quality plans. Collect and analyze feedwater and boiler blowdown water. Collect incoming supplies at the factory according to the quality plan. Perform impurity evaluation on sugarcane entering the milling process. Support implementation of the plant’s pest control program (rodents, flies, etc.). Identify and immediately report sampling, conditioning, and sample preparation deviations to the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Laboratory Analyst.
