




As a Professional Intern in Occupational Health and Safety at Belmond Peru, you will actively contribute to promoting a safe and healthy work environment. By supporting the management and monitoring of HSE policies and procedures, you will participate in risk identification, record updates, and coordination of preventive actions. Your work ensures compliance with current regulations and strengthens an organizational culture focused on safety, well-being, and care for all employees. **If you're looking to develop your skills and be part of the future of luxury, now is your moment.** **Main responsibilities include:** * Support the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (HSE). * Coordinate with the immediate supervisor on occupational risk prevention activities. * Promote compliance with 5-minute or start-of-shift safety talks across all areas. * Verify compliance with scheduled inspections. * Provide direct support to line supervisors on specific HSE-related matters. * Participate in preventive inspections of both internal staff and third-party companies, both scheduled and unannounced. * Assist in workplace accident investigations and preparation of related reports. * Actively participate in internal and external audits. * Verify compliance with manuals, plans, policies, procedures, instructions, and regulations (RISST). * Support the execution of HSE training and education programs. * Contribute to the development and updating of the IPERC risk matrix. * Follow up on the implementation of operational controls for risks identified in the IPERC. * Support processes related to the election of HSE committees. * Collaborate in the preparation of HSE documents, procedures, and instructional materials. * Support proper handling, updating, and maintenance of HSE-related records and documentation. **Requirements** **What you bring:** * Recently graduated from university with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related fields. * Basic level of English. * Knowledge of national regulations related to occupational health and safety. * Familiarity with integrated management systems and ISO 45001. * Knowledge of occupational risk prevention and high-risk work activities. * Effective communication skills and ability to convey information clearly and motivatively. * Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. * Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and suggest improvements. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and activity follow-up. * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Responsibility and ethics in handling information. **Benefits** **What we offer:** At the Peruvian Divisional Office, we take pride in fostering a culture based on kindness, active listening, and genuine connections with our colleagues and guests.
