Role Objective: Execute the electronic initiation process of blasting to ensure proper detonation according to client requirements. **Daveytronic, Fametronic or IKON certification is desirable.** **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock of Daveytronic products at the operation site. * Carry out blast design, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation processes. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on indicators, progress, anomalies, support in downstream post-blast result tracking, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing their requirements and demands. * Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process reports. **Requirements**: * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems (desirable). * At least 2 years of experience in mining. * Class AIIB driver's license (desirable). * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related fields. * Proficiency in blast design software. * Knowledge of blasting processes. * Knowledge of the use and properties of explosives and detonators.
