Summary: We are seeking a Technical Manager who understands mechanical and electrical design of precision air conditioning equipment for data centers and performs equipment technical management—including modifications and repairs—as well as customer support and technical sales assistance. Opportunity to apply practical experience in air conditioning units and air conditioning control Location: Mita, JP, JP Global Business Unit: TEC Job Function: Engineering Requisition Number: 221999 Description: **Job Summary** --------------- Thermal Technical Manager / Technical Manager for precision air conditioning units and systems for data centers **General Responsibilities** ---------------------------- ＜Scope of Work＞Comprehend mechanical and electrical design aspects of precision air conditioning equipment for data centers, and perform equipment technical management including modifications and repairs. ＜Business Summary＞End users include IT companies operating cloud services, telecommunications carriers, financial institutions, e-commerce platforms, and social media companies. When end users construct data centers, they commission general contractors and design firms. Our company conducts sales activities targeting such general contractors and design firms. Additionally, some projects are awarded to Vertiv’s U.S. headquarters (e.g., overseas enterprises entering Japan to build data centers); our company handles project execution in Japan for these international assignments. ＜Job Responsibilities＞ Technical services—including after-sales service—based on understanding of equipment performance; customer support; operational checks of delivered equipment—including information processing components Preparation, review, and instruction of delivery specification documents—including drawing review Guidance and supervision of equipment installation works; repair and adjustment; troubleshooting Technical explanations to customers and specification discussions Technical sales assistance—including new business opportunity identification **Functional Skills and Knowledge** ----------------------------------- 【Required】 · Practical experience or related knowledge in air conditioning units and air conditioning control (residential or commercial applications acceptable) · Patience and communication skills to carefully address customer requirements · Self-motivation and initiative · Teamwork and collaboration skills · Willingness to provide emergency response—including on weekends, holidays, and during nighttime—when equipment or system failures occur **Education** ------------- 【Preferred】 · Holders of the “Class 1 Plumbing Construction Management Engineer” or “Building Equipment Engineer” qualification · Knowledge and experience in equipment construction work, and experience managing or directing subcontractors performing installation · Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or telecommunications engineering · English proficiency Requisition Number: 221999 Job Function: Engineering
