Conduct visual quality control and apply safety procedures We seek a dedicated professional with high-quality standards for the position of **Welder / Welding Technician**. **What Are We Looking For?** * Technical professional in universal welding, metal structures, production mechanics, or similar fields, with approved certification in 3G or 4G SMAW process * Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as a welder * Valid Certification / Qualification for 4G (SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW, or applicable process) * Desired experience with oxy-fuel cutting and completion of safety training for hot work **Your Key Challenges** * Perform welding and repair of metal structures and pipelines using SMAW and GMAW processes in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions * Mechanically prepare surfaces for welding, including cleaning, beveling, and alignment of parts * Interpret fabrication drawings, diagrams, and symbols to ensure precise assembly of treatment system components * Operate welding machines and plasma or oxy-fuel cutting equipment, ensuring proper setup before operation * Conduct visual quality control of weld joints to detect and correct defects such as porosity, undercut, or lack of penetration * Strictly apply safety procedures for hot work and record material consumption (electrodes, gases, etc.) on work orders * Perform grinding and finishing of parts, as well as basic maintenance and cleaning of assigned equipment and tools Salary: S/.3,500.00 - S/.4,500.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
