Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Assistant to support fiber optic installations, maintenance, repair, and configuration of telecommunications equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support for fiber optic installations and equipment assembly. 2. Collaboration in network equipment maintenance and repair. 3. Assistance in basic network device configuration. In this opportunity, we are looking for a **TECHNICAL ASSISTANT**, whose responsibilities will include: * **Installation Support:** Assists in laying fiber optic cabling and installing conduits, supports, and equipment at height (poles) or ground level. * **Maintenance and Repair:** Helps diagnose and resolve basic faults in equipment (ONTs, routers, switches) and transmission media, performing repairs and replacements. * **Fiber Preparation and Splicing:** Collaborates in preparing fiber for splicing, performing splices, and sealing splice closures and terminals. * **Basic Configuration:** Assists in initial configuration of network devices (ONTs, routers) and verifies network parameters. * **Customer Support:** May assist in resolving user incidents from a physical and basic connectivity perspective. * And other duties. Requirements: * Person with a positive attitude, cheerful demeanor, and willingness to help. * Technical education or completed secondary school. * Experience in telecommunications (NOT REQUIRED) — training will be provided. * Driver's license A1 We offer: Formal employment with benefits as per Peruvian MYPE regulations.
