**JOB SUMMARY:** We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician with proven experience in the analysis and testing of materials such as soils, concrete, and asphalt. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in mix design, as well as performing tests under national and international standards (NOM, ASTM, AASHTO, among others). This position is critical to ensuring the quality of materials used in construction and paving projects. Required courses: Sap, Etabs, and Safe (essential requirement) **Main Responsibilities:** Conduct soil characterization tests (granulometry, Atterberg limits, Proctor, CBR, etc.). Perform concrete strength, settlement, slump, curing, and other related tests. Carry out laboratory and field analyses of asphalt mixes, including asphalt content, gradation, stability and flow (Marshall), density, etc. Design optimal soil, concrete, and asphalt mixtures according to project specifications and applicable standards. Prepare detailed technical reports of laboratory results. Calibrate, maintain, and properly operate laboratory equipment. Support quality control on site by taking samples and supervising their application. Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations in the laboratory and in the field. **Requirements:** Technician or Technologist in Construction, Materials, or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in soil, concrete, and asphalt laboratories. Demonstrated experience in concrete and asphalt mix design. Advanced knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, INVIAS (if applicable), or similar standards. Proficiency in specialized mix design software (optional but desirable).
