**Job Description:** REQUIREMENTS: ü Professional degree – Technical Specialist in Customs Clearance, Administration and International Business, and/or International Trade. ü Minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar position. ü Proficiency in the customs system “SINTAD” is preferred. ü Basic user-level computer skills: Word, Excel, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: ü Receive documentation (file of copies) to prepare the DAM (Customs Declaration). ü Review documents to verify data, type of goods, releases, free trade agreement provisions, registrations, permits, etc. ü Assign order numbers to issue proforma invoices and identify operations. ü Track vessel arrivals to proceed with DAM numbering and immediate cargo release. ü Report all operational activities to the immediate supervisor. ü Enter information into the customs system for DAM numbering. ü Coordinate with customs brokers on customs procedures to inform clients about the status of their goods. ü Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that are consistent with the nature of the position. ü Fully track customs clearance for each assigned client and assume responsibility for any delays. ü Comply with provisions established under the Integrated Management System and the Supply Chain Security System implementation.
