**We are seeking a GENERAL ACCOUNTANT for the Transport Sector – Arequipa** We are looking to hire a qualified accountant who wishes to bring order, financial analysis, and strategic financial insight to a rapidly growing transportation company. **Key Responsibilities** * Preparation and analysis of financial statements. * Recording and control of daily accounting transactions. * Monthly/annual tax filings and compliance with tax obligations. * Bank reconciliations and account analysis. * Management of fixed assets, provisions, and business costs. * Support during internal and external audits. * Direct coordination with Operations, Logistics, and Finance departments. **Candidate Profile** * Licensed Public Accountant, or currently completing licensure. * 2–3 years of experience in general accounting (preferably in transportation, logistics, or service industries). * Strong knowledge of Peruvian tax regulations, IFRS, and SUNAT tools. * Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. * Highly organized, analytical professional with sound accounting judgment and a strong sense of urgency. * Resident of or available to work in Arequipa. **What We Offer** * Opportunity to join a stable corporation with a culture built on trust and accountability. * Genuine opportunities for professional growth. * A collaborative, results-oriented work environment. * Competitive salary + statutory benefits.
