**Quality Parameters Assistant in Harvesting – Experience in Mango Agroexporters.** **Requirements** · Bachelor’s degree in Agroindustrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Agronomic Engineering. · Preferably, knowledge of extrinsic and intrinsic damage in avocado and/or mango. · Knowledge of quality evaluations conducted in the field or processing plant. · Intermediate Excel skills. · Motorcycle and valid motorcycle driver’s license. **Responsibilities:** · Requests materials, tools, supplies, and/or equipment from supervisor to properly perform duties. · Requests budget(s) required to properly perform duties. · Receives weekly harvest projections from supervisor. · Verifies and records compliance with the established sequence of latex-removal trays (parihuelas). · Verifies and records use of the covered drying area (tinglado). · Evaluates and records percentages of CAT 1, CAT 2, and CAT 3 fruits in harvesters’ crates (jabas). · Immediately reports evaluation results to supervisor. · Evaluates and records size-grade percentages of evaluated crates (jabas). · Evaluates and records percentages of latex staining caused by latex-removal trays (parihuelas) and improper peduncle cutting. · Evaluates and records intrinsic quality parameters—such as °Brix, firmness, and color—by selecting fruits at risk of failing to meet specifications outlined in the technical sheet. · Evaluates and records the impact of transportation on fruit quality.
