Join our team as a **Field Engineer.** **Your mission** You will be responsible for providing technical advice on products and drill steels to customers, always ensuring compliance with industry quality standards and alignment with Epiroc’s processes. **Your work location:** This position will cover operations in Arequipa and surrounding areas. **What will be your responsibilities?** * Field monitoring of drill steel performance. * Monitoring KPIs for drill steel performance. * Conducting Air and Pull Down measurement tests. * Analyzing causes of premature discard and contributing to improvements in drill bit designs. * Performing performance tests on drill string components. * Issuing clear, timely, and instructive reports of obtained results. * Preparing technical reports to determine the root cause of premature drill steel discard. **Our ideal candidate** You have: * A degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. * General knowledge of Surface Mining. * Knowledge of Drill Steels. * Knowledge of surface mining drilling. * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. * Basic-level Power BI proficiency. * Driver’s license A1 or A2B. * Intermediate English for reading manuals. * At least 1 year of experience in similar roles. **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition, and our cities and infrastructure must develop to serve a growing population.
